In lower elementary, students begin learning how to observe the world around them and formulate questions.
In upper elementary, students begin developing proficiency in the scientific method.
At the K-5 level, students are starting to think beyond the classroom. We focus on the positive and negative forces that have shaped our environment, and to think critically about their current and future impact on our world. We engage students through relevant current events issues, and the everyday forms of technology that have impacted how they interact with others and the wider world. We teach students the responsibilities that we have to others and to our wider society, and how that society is created based on national and universal foundations and values.
